“… Reid was arrested in July for allegedly resisting attempts to restrain her after she refused to back away from ICE officers who were conducting arrests outside the D.C. Jail. In the process, they said, an FBI agent received scrapes to the back of her hand.

Prosecutors sought to indict Reid with an enhanced felony version of an assault charge that requires inflicting bodily injury on a federal officer and carries up to eight years in prison. The charge is the same offense filed earlier this month against a former DOJ employee accused of throwing a sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent.

But, three subsequent grand juries declined to indict. Pirro’s office revealed the first two no true bills in court earlier this month. A magistrate judge said last week he would find probable cause, thus allowing the case to continue, but gave prosecutors until Monday at 5 p.m. to secure an indictment against Reid before a 30-day clock mandated by federal law ran out. Prosecutors acknowledged the third no true bill Monday in a filing saying they would instead proceed with a misdemeanor version of the charge….”
Jeanine Pirro has finally laid to rest the notion that a DA can get an indictment on a ham sandwich.

When you compare the numbers of immigrants allowed into the US during Biden's 4 years compared to the numbers bookended by Trump's first term and especially his second, all under the same immigration laws, does it leave any doubt that what was allowed to happen by the Biden administration was purposely executed? Can anyone be naive enough to believe it wasn't?

Does anyone believe that in excess of 10 million unvetted people from some of the most dangerous places on this planet can be allowed to simply walk in and some of them not be murderers, rapists, pedos, criminals from all walks of life? Does anyone believe that that could actually happen? Going o-fer on criminals out of 10+ million unvetted people?

And yet, somehow y'all thought it was going to be nothing but prettiness trying to get out who Biden welcomed in? It would take a silly person to believe that and one who needs to wake up and live in the real world.

I know, right? It’s crazy how many immigrants you can kick out of the country if you just ignore all immigration laws and procedures and use gestapo tactics to round them up!

Yep anyone who is fine with how this is playing out is at best an asshole and at worst...well...if the jackboot fits.

1. No matter how many times you claim that they weren't vetted, it's just not true. Everyone released on parole is vetted by definition.
2. I don't know what you mean by purposely executed. If you mean purposely as in followed the law, yes. That's a good thing. Following the law is a good thing.
3. They are not from the most dangerous places on earth. For one thing, that title apparently went to Washington DC, without us knowing. But as much as they want to make you think that Islamic fighters from Yemen are crossing the border, that didn't happen.

4. They are, for the most part, not violent people which is why they are fleeing the violence. Duh.

5. Why is it that you conservatives can't do any math at all? Let me propose something. If there were two criminals in those 10 million, the US will have become much, much safer. How do you measure safety? Per capita crimes. If a bunch of people enter a country with lower than average per capita criminality, then criminality as a whole will decline. Do you agree or not agree. This is third grade math. Can you do it?

6. What is your red line? What is it Trump could do that would stop you from supporting him? Rape you repeatedly and kill your children? Short of that?

“… Abrego Garcia, who was rearrested Monday in Maryland after he was released Friday from criminal custody in Tennessee, is currently being held in a detention center in Virginia, where the federal government is temporarily blocked from deporting him pending further proceedings in a habeas case.

… According to the emergency motion to reopen the case, his attorneys argue that because Abrego Garcia was deported and then brought back to the U.S., he is now eligible to apply for asylum within one year of his last entry into the U.S.

The motion asks the immigration court in Baltimore to "immediately" order a stay of removal to afford Abrego Garcia "an opportunity to seek protection from persecution and torture in Uganda," where the government has indicated he could be sent.…”

“… In the filing, the attorney also said that reopening the case is warranted to allow Abrego Garcia to designate Costa Rica as the country of removal.

"Respondent recently received an offer of refugee status from the government of Costa Rica, along with official assurances that Costa Rica will not detain him and will not deport him to El Salvador," the filing said. "The Court should grant Respondent's motion to reopen proceedings to allow Respondent to seek both asylum and protection from removal to Uganda based on changed circumstances."…”
