When the “no tax on OT” thing came out I suspected it was, at least in part, intended as a gift/bribe to law enforcement. After the gargantuan increase in ICE funding, I’m thinking it was the primary focus all along.

Here are the age restrictions they are waiving (a strange thing to do if they already have 80,000 applicants for 10,000 jobs):

Wonder what other requirements they are waiving? Since they are allowing folks as young as 18 to apply, I would guess prior relevant law enforcement experience is being waived?

“Defend your culture”, as a slogan for promoting a militarized thug squad, is outright 3rd Reich shit.

These people are Nazis. Atrocities have already occurred, but the scale is about to become horrifying.
Defending the "culture" of white racists and bigots is what MAGA has always been about.

I hope immigrants come together and defend themselves.

“… Lindsey provided NBC6 documentation that shows she arrived at the so-called “Alligator Alcatraz” on July 6 and worked at the controversial detention center for about a week before she caught Covid and had to isolate.

… “I was aware that it was going to be the Alligator Alcatraz,” said Lindsey, who added that while she knew she would be living in a shared trailer, she said the conditions were rough for everyone there.

“We had to use the porta-johns. We didn’t have hot water half the time. Our bathrooms were backed up,” she said.

… When talking about the space where detainees are being held, Lindsey said it look like “an oversized kennel.”

She says each tent had eight large cages, which hold 35 to 38 inmates, which means each tent holds close to 300 detainees….”

She denied the allegations and said she’s coming forward because of what she saw.…”
