"ICE thought (wrongly) that the woman had tried to ram their vehicle" gives them entirely too much benefit of the doubt despite you acknowledging that they thought wrong. it was a minor fender bender.

their reaction was insane and completely outside the bounds of any of the laws in this country.
Its clear that what they thought. In their mind, they are soldiers in enemy territory and they perceive reality very differently than normal people. They assume they are under assault. So when their vehicle hits another vehicle in a bang-bang situation, they assume they are being attacked. Remember, they have their leadership claiming there are Tren de Aragua bounties on each of them. They internalize that shit.

Keep in mind that these are not the best of the best. These are mostly losers who have received insufficient training and are not bright to begin with. And most are racist to boot. Their reality is very different than ours.

Can you imagine how many pardons Trump will be signing on his way out the door in 2029? He may go ahead and do them next year if Dems win either house of Congress.

Monty Python would have so much fun with this administration.

On Tuesday, the Border Patrol officer testified about his experience.

Greg Lairmore told the jury that Dunn “became really irritated and started yelling obscenities” at him and other officers that night before throwing “a subway style sandwich at me that struck me in the chest.”

“It smelled of onions and mustard,” Lairmore said of the sandwich, which “exploded all over my chest.”

UPDATE: Toddler Detained In Chaotic Border Patrol Raid At Home Depot In Cypress Park This Morning

After an agent hit the child in the face with a ball, the youth was driven away from the scene by Border Patrol. The child was later reunited with its mother in the afternoon.

“… Six people and one toddler were detained in the parking lot, according to rapid responders. The raid lasted around 30 minutes.

A U.S. Citizen was also temporarily detained by Border Patrol agents, before being released and taken to the hospital to receive medical attention for injuries sustained during his detention.

… A U.S. citizen named Jorge, who is a staff member of the day laborer center, which has been located on the Home Depot parking lot for 20 years, was among those detained by Border Patrol agents as they “breached” the private property of the Cypress Community Job Center,

… Jorge told them that he works at the job center and asked them why they took him. The agents told him they were going to go back to the center and claimed they took him because he looked suspicious.

Jorge sustained a fractured wrist due to the brutal detainment.

“They photographed him, videotaped him, were asking him questions, interrogating him about what the organization does, and they said, if he did not give them information, that they were going to process him and put him through the immigration detention system,” Ortiz tells L.A. TACO. “The only information he did give was his name, and he was subsequently released, and now he's actually in the emergency room getting his injuries checked out.”…”
