Imagine being a governor of a state with this chaos going on and considering asking for federal help, and then realizing that the feds intentionally created this and are actively attacking your citizens.

@Rock, I often get caught, when trying to figure out what emoji to use to describe many in the Trump administration, between the poop and clown emojis.

Would it be possible to get a clown emoji with poop on its head? I think that might best represent how I feel.

FBI says it has found no video of Border Patrol agent shooting 2 people in Oregon

The FBI says in a court document that it has found no surveillance or other video of a Border Patrol agent shooting and wounding two people in a pickup truck during an immigration enforcement operation in Portland, Oregon, last week

“… During an initial appearance Monday afternoon in federal court in Portland, he wore a white sweatshirt and sweatpants and appeared to hold out his left arm gingerly at an angle. An interpreter translated the judge’s comments for him. The judge ordered that he remain in detention and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Wednesday.

The agent’s affidavit said that after being read his rights, Nino-Moncada “admitted to intentionally ramming the Border Patrol vehicle in an attempt to flee, and he stated that he knew they were immigration enforcement vehicles.”

His passenger, Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras, was hospitalized after being shot in the chest and on Monday was being held at a private immigration detention facility in Tacoma, Washington, according to an online detainee locator system maintained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She faces a charge of illegal entry into the U.S., which federal prosecutors in Texas filed last week. ….”

Everything gets caught on camera these days except for the things the government doesn’t want us to see.

A man shot by Border Patrol during an Oregon immigration stop pleads not guilty to assault on agent

The man shot and wounded by a Border Patrol agent during an immigration stop in Portland, Oregon, last week has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault on a federal employee and damaging federal property

“… The Department of Homeland Security has said the two people entered the U.S. illegally and were affiliated with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Portland Police Chief Bob Day confirmed last week that the pair had “some nexus” to the gang. He said the two came to the attention of police during an investigation of a July shooting believed to have been carried out by gang members but they were not identified as suspects.

… FBI Special Agent Daniel Jeffreys wrote in an affidavit supporting the charges that Nino-Moncada used the vehicle as a weapon. The agents feared for their own safety and that of the public, the document said.…”

Anti-ICE protester blinded by federal agent during demonstration in Santa Ana, family says

“…Jeri Rees said her 21-year-old nephew underwent six hours of surgery and that doctors found shards of plastic, glass and metal embedded in his eyes and around his face, including a metal piece lodged 7 mm from a carotid artery.

“That could have cost him his life,” Rees said. “But now, for the next six weeks, he can’t sneeze or cough because it could do a lot of damage.”

She said doctors did not want to remove the shrapnel near the artery out of fear that it could kill him. …”
