I finally got to see the video of the shooter crossing in front of the car. he put himself in the path to justify his drawing the weapon and firing. It's the murder equivalent of jumping in front of a slow moving car when a light turns green for an insurance claim.
 


Perfect encapsulation of what kind of self-loathing, erectile dysfunction-riddled, impotent limpdick coward becomes an ICE agent. These fucking cucks stand there in their military fatigues and weapons, wearing masks and sunglasses over their faces, while a lone middle-aged white woman fearlessly dresses them down for being the lowlife murdering scum that they are.

Federal agents shot two people in Portland, Ore., Thursday, prompting local leaders to demand an end to an immigration crackdown there, while also urging calm in a community known for political dissent. The conditions of the two people were not immediately clear.

U.S. Border Patrol agents were conducting a “targeted vehicle stop,” and one fired a shot after a driver tried to run them over, a Homeland Security Department spokeswoman said in a statement.

The spokeswoman, Tricia McLaughlin, described the agents’ target as an undocumented immigrant and member of Tren de Aragua, a gang with roots in a Venezuelan prison that has been a frequent target of President Trump. She provided no immediate evidence of his gang membership.

The driver drove off after the agents fired on the vehicle, local officials said, and the two shooting victims were found by the police a short distance away, with gunshot wounds.

most people who need to see this are watching Fox who will never show it. THat's if they are watching news at all, and in that case Elon's, Zuck's and Trump's algorithms make sure they see nothing but the Russian propaganda that is being firehosed.

One advantage the civil rights movement had was that it took place under relatively sympathetic administrations - Kennedy, LBJ, and even Eisenhower (or people in his administration, like Attorney General Herbert Brownell). If Rosa Parks or the Little Rock Nine or the sit-ins had happened today under this administration does anyone doubt that they would have gone after them with the full force of the federal government? To enforce the Supreme Court's school desegregation order and stop Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus from violating federal law by using the National Guard to keep the Little Rock Nine out of Central High in Little Rock, Eisenhower federalized the National Guard and sent the 101st Airborne to Little Rock to stop mob violence and ensure that the students entered the school.

There is no doubt that Trump, Stephen Miller, and others in Trump 2.0 would have done the exact opposite - they would have agreed with Faubus and would have used every means at their disposal to keep those students out of the school and just ignored the Supreme Court's rulings. And they probably would have had Pam Bondi and the DOJ charge Rosa Parks with violating some kind of federal law. Trump 2.0 is shot through with the kind of bad guys that we've seen throughout American history - they're the type of people who would be on the wrong side of history at nearly every turn. And yet they're running the country and have total control of the government.
