My guess is Tim Cook is not worried about any particular employee per se as much as he is worried about the potential impact on corporate earnings and share holder concerns.

The cynic in me believes that Murkowski is playing a part in what is an ochestrated attemp to save Stephen Miller byt throwing Neom under the bus.

Save Miller? Why would Murkowski want that? Miller is the man behind the culture and violence of ice. At least I feel confident he is.

What action (not words) has Murkowski ever done that gives you the impression that Murkcowski is at all troubled by the cutlure of violence at ICE? I think she has a role to play that she plays that role very well. She is a critical cog in the the machine. One that makes the machine run far more smoothly than without her. Behind all that pearl clutching, she's on board 100%. At least there has never been any disceranble action to prove otherwise (and every discernable action to prove it so). I think she got her orders and like a good footsoldier with a role to play, she's carring out her ordrers. Someone has to go, and the machine prefers it be Noem than Miller.

Or maybe it makes more sense for a Senator to call for the ouster of a confirmed cabinet secretary than a White House staffer who serves without the need for Senate confirmation.

No, not really. You have eyes in your head. I have eyes in mine. She has eyes in hers. We all know the exact lay of the land. Miller is the genesis of this evil, and that is no secret. No reason to pretend it's other than what it plainly is.
