Pretti may not be a domestic terrorist (loaded term that the admin should avoid) but he was a professional agitator intent upon upon impeding ICE's lawful duties. He's not an innocent protestor/nurse merely wanting to film ICE. He actively was working with Signal Chat on a full time basis after being fired from his job as a nurse for insubordination.

I'm not saying he deserved to be shot by ICE but he was playing Russian roulette by repeatedly inserting himself into law enforcement raids with a loaded gun, spitting and putting his hands on officers and kicking out a tail light as they were leaving the scene.

Just because you enjoy the constitutional right to carry a gun on your person doesn't, in all cases, make it smart or safe to do so particularly if you are inserting yourself into a dangerous, tense situation involved armed officers.

Yeah, it amazes me that. say you work 60 hours a week and sleep 7 hours a night, there's only about 60 hours left a week. How would he ever have time to be on the streets in his neighborhood?

We'll see how well the "but Your Honor he wasn't working very much this month!" defense works at the sentencing hearing when the officer(s) who fired 10 shots into the back of a subdued man on the pavement is facing the remainder of his life in prison for murder!

You seem to be pretty well informed on both Pretti as a person and what he should have expected to happen to him. Can you extrapolate what you think should have happened to him if he, for example, had stormed the Capitol with the intent to preventing a candidate he neither voted for nor approved of from being certified as President by the Electoral College? Knocked to the floor and executed? Stood up against the wall and executed. Had a Go Fund Me account established in his name that would in a matter of days would collect ten times his normal annual earnings?
