Because they are here illegally. It’s ok that they are here illegally but not people at the border who aren’t legal? How do you deport them and not the guy in Minnesota that is here illegally. I think you’re missing my point. Why do we need this huge increase of the ICE budget and ICE agents for this? Why do we need to send in hordes of agents to do this!?

People speed on the highway constantly. Do we need to increase our highway patrol budgets and number of patrol people a hundred or a thousand fold to crack down on people driving 10 mph over the speed limit? Of course we don’t.

Why can’t we just focus on securing the border and violent illegal immigrants?

The right wants no diversity? That’s what it appears like when you favor this action and favor assimilation. The right, I guess, only wants one type of person with one type of religion, etc. in America.
