I wondered about that, specifically after seeing him walking away from the scene while staring at his phone. Body cameras would be more robust than a cell phone and far more tactically sound, but they can’t be used to immediately upload video to Xitter or send it to a preening, dog murdering cabinet member.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out there’s been a DHS monthly bonus for most provocative video.

In my opinion you are supposing Vance cares about anything other than a monopoly on violence. I tend to think he does not. He currently has that monopoly.

You might be right, but IMO I think the one and only thing Vance cares about- the thing which he desperately wants above all else- is the presidency. He has completely and wholly sold his entire soul and changed everything about himself to achieve that end.

I doubt he cares about a soul. I also think he thinks Thiel and his billionaire benefactors will install him as president when Trump dies in office.
