“…Diaz Morales was arrested by ICE agents in Baltimore on Dec. 14 while she was leaving a Taco Bell with her younger sister. Her sister said Diaz Morales told the agents she was a U.S. citizen.

DHS, using a different last name for Diaz Morales, said after her arrest that she was in the U.S. illegally.

“Dulce Consuelo Madrigal Diaz is NOT a U.S. citizen — she is an illegal alien from Mexico,” DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement emailed to The Washington Post in December. “She did NOT provide a valid U.S. birth certificate or any evidence in support of her claim that she is a U.S. citizen. On Dec. 14, ICE arrested this illegal alien in Baltimore. On Oct. 20, 2023, when CBP encountered her near Lukeville, Arizona, Madrigal-Diaz claimed she was a citizen of Mexico and was born on Oct. 18, 2003.”

If they were successful in getting every darker skinned person out of the US, they would then turn on various white groups that they don't believe are equals. People with disabilities; people who draw from social programs; people who do not add to the economy, atheists etc. The hatred never burns out, it just moves on to the next target.

Vance: We always want to get them out faster. A lot of the I.C.E. Agents we've hired in the past six months are not even done with training… I think we will see the deportation numbers ramp-up as we get more and more people online working for ICE going door-to-door

They've just been making up shit for years now, and they know that their base is never going to follow up and see if they're telling the truth, and now that they control most legacy news media they can control the narrative, so the truth doesn't matter to them anymore. This lady was not threatening that agent, and certainly not to any extent that she was putting his life in danger. He just flat-out murdered her.

But Trumpers like Noem will completely ignore that and will just create their own narrative that will be sold to their base by Fox and their other networks and podcasts and talk radio and so on, and they know their MAGA base will buy it because it's what they want to believe happened. Big Brother/Sister says it, so it must be true. You can already see them spouting their talking points on replies to news articles about this shooting on social media.

This is one part where I don't agree with the criticism. If someone has been blasted twice in the head at close range, there is a very good chance they are dead. There is nothing to do for that person. It is now a crime scene, and evidence needs to be preserved. Without knowing what they saw in that car after the shooting it is hard to criticize this part of their response.
