How was it political? Those two women were not public figures or politicians. They were election workers. They were falsely accused of passing drugs to each other on national TV. They were falsely accused of election fraud with no evidence, other than showing normal vote counting in their precinct. They received death threats, hate mail and calls, called the N word, were afraid to leave their homes.
