It’s truly unfathomable how stupid conservatives are. If Iran actually wanted to inflict harm on the United States at any point in the past five decades all they had to do close the Strait of Hormuz. They didn't need a nuclear weapon. The fact that they never closed the Strait until the U.S. and Israel attacked them first clearly shows they weren't a threat.
 
This whole crowd in the “middle east “ has been fighting since they came out of the Tigress and Euphrates? So now some 250 year old is going to tell this crowd how to behave?!? Methinks they might have unresolved issues that we weren’t even born when they happened! Lack of any contextual knowledge is a bad fucking place to work from!

The Persians had empires for centuries. They can redefine the long game. All we've done is provide cover for Bibi.

They should be but people love the way that cannon looks so we keep them around. And that's probably not fair. They were useful in Afghanistan with almost no SAM coverage and very limited AA, but they are ineffective for close support in a place like Iran.

That pretty much sums it up...

1 ) The nuclear deal under Obama had Iran's nuclear capability contained
2 ) Trump tossed the deal because Obama got it done which has been a priority for Trump to undo anything Obama did because Obama lives inside Trump's head
3 ) We sent incompetent negotiators ( Kushner and Witkoff ) to meet with Iran and misunderstood the Iranian proposal ( of course they did because they are incompetent to be in that role )
4 ) We attack Iran days later and here we are bogged down in a stupid war

Yep, that pretty much sums up the blundering incompetent Trump administration that we foolishly put into office.

Just as Spengler said in Ghostbusters " I blame myself ", our voters in 2024 should do the same and say, "We blame ourselves"

Iran will do all it can to keep it confused and mysterious. We still don't know what happened to Ron Arad but we do know the Iranians and their proxies had him for years.
