Okay, so Iran agreed to let Trump stop bombing. In return, they will allow ships to pass UNDER CONTROL OF THE IRAN ARMED FORCES. So basically Iran is saying Trump has just OFFICIALLY given Iran control over Strait, and will be making tons in tolls to make them even stronger. Some are even reporting that Iran is saying agreement gives them right to missile production and nuclear.

This is crazy. Fox Infotainment and Leavitt will be working all night tweaking the coordinated spin. We won for the 8th time but not done yet?

You seem to think this is a one-off thing. It isn’t. Acting like terrorists, in order to defeat a terrorist country isn’t going to defeat terrorism. It is going to breed it. Going at this without the support of the world isn’t going to make Americans safer. It is going to weaken us, and fracture the world.

If Trump is successful at his goals, he isn’t going to be satiated; he, and Hegseth, and this administration are going to hunger for more, and eventually they will hunger for American lives.

You keep saying you are all about logic. Play things out. In every scenario, Trump’s actions in Iran - and in general - are costing us so much - at a time - the dawn of the age of artificial intelligence - when we need be setting up rules of war for the new era, not breaking the rules of war that have been put in place since the era of World War II.

You want Iran to not become a nuclear state. I get it. But this is not the way to make the world safe. And you need to stop defending this administrations actions, because this is, in no way, how America, or any country, can treat another country without grave consequences.

That post above showing a spoonfed tweet for Pakistan leader to set up the TACO for Trump -- I literally thought that might be the case. But I did not want to appear as a conspiracy nutjob.
 
So in essence Iran keeps its enriched uranium, its hardliner regime is still firmly in power, it solely controls the Strait of Hormuz indefinitely, sanctions on Iranian oil were removed, and $15 billion and counting have flowed into Iran since said sanctions were removed. Trump didn’t TACO, he outright surrendered!
 
Are we talking about THIS 10 point plan??? Because if so, holy shit we just lost a war against an immensely weaker adversary.
  1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again
  2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire
  3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon
  4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran
  5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies
  6. Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz
  7. Iran would impose a $2m fee per ship transiting Hormuz
  8. Iran would split these fees with Oman
  9. Iran would establish rules for safe passage through Hormuz
  10. Iran would use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations
