The goal of the blockade is to prevent Iran from exporting oil. Chinese ships, at least those that have gotten through, unless they are being allowed to pick-up oil from Iran, wouldn't undermine the intent of the blockade, right?

EDIT: On a side note, NBC is reporting that the Chinese ship wasn't going to Iran, but was just passing through carrying methanol.

I wonder how long Trump 2.0 is willing or able to keep our Navy there blocking the strait before they just declare victory and send them home. Iran could just play a waiting game - know that they can outwait us - and then when we leave they just take control of the strait again and keep charging fees to use it and basically daring us to come back.
