So this not war is at minimum a short term financial boon to oil sales (at greatly elevated prices) from Russia and Iran.

Honestly, you're just doing way too much here in my opinion. No people welcome the destruction of their economy, their cities, and their daily existence by another country. What you have proposed and are advocating would create the fiercest enemy our country has ever known in the Iranian people overall. We may have already done that to some extent, but sending thousands of troops into Iran to overthrow the only governing entities in the country would cause instant chaos, death, and YEARS of civil war within the country. Whatever country that comes out of such a thing would be no ally to the United States."Critical thought" on this board is immediately succumbing to the opinion of the kneejerk left and calling anyone who doesn't agree with it a right wing nutjob. Same as the old ZZL. Fortunately I have plenty of real life liberals to discuss things with who don't immediately react with "WTF" like Zoo did and proceed into some blatant overcompensating mancuntness.
Hundreds of posters on this board. I'm literally the first one outside of known MAGATs to post a different opinion on this subject. I guess everyone here except me is just perfect at "critical thought", even though it's all EXACTLY THE SAME.
I mean look, I agree with 90% of what is posted here. That's largely why I come here. And the boss is good with breaking news off X on important subjects. But this place isn't about "critical thought". It's a bunch of libs patting each other on the ass and validating each other.
