Maybe - giving up a Nobel Peace Prize (has anyone else done that before?) to Donald Freaking Trump is pretty extreme. No doubt there are plenty of Republicans who have humiliated themselves to Dear Leader, though. Rubio and Graham are great current examples of it - Rubio wearing those ridiculously ill-fitting shoes is proof of it.

I know this is probably already been mentioned, but Nobel Prize winnners get three medals, one solid gold and the other two are gold plated. I'm guessing María Corina Machado gave him one of the plated ones, not the solid gold one. Still, it's outrageous that St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago would accept even one of the plated ones.

Donald Trump said on Saturday that the United States may carry out more strikes on Iran’s Kharg Island oil export hub “just for fun”, saying that while Tehran appears ready to make a deal to end the conflict, “the terms aren’t good enough yet”.

The fact that she gave even one of the medals to Trump is still pathetic, imo, and a sign of gullibility and desperation that should disqualify her from her nation's highest office. She should have known better, and it's a terrible look, no matter her motivations. As for Trump it doesn't surprise me at all that he accepted it, given that he has practically been begging for one for years.
