I don't know about that. Iraquis seemed pretty damn happy when we invaded and arrested Saddam.

Well, then all hell broke loose because Saddam was apparently the only thing keeping the religious lunatics from murdering each other....but still they were happy despite the US invading! They did, for sure. I distinctly remember coming home from middle school and turning on the news the day they tackled Saddam statue. But then what happened?
I can only ask, At the end of the day each of us is free to chose our own paths on this board.I'd rather argue. Helps me cope with the stupidity.

I gave you my answer. For the life of me, I can't figure why it bothers you. You can ignore them and me if that suits you. I think there is even a super ignore feature where your ignoring of them also ignores replies to their posts. In any case, you are correct that we can all only choose our own path.I can only ask, At the end of the day each of us is free to chose our own paths on this board.
But for the life of me, I will never understand why anyone would choose the path nurturing. tender care and feeding, and amplification of the most morally bankrupt and intellectually dishonest trolls on this community.
The only point of their existence is your engagement. Why give the worst online person you know what they need to flourish? You may have an answer that makes sense to you. Personally, I can't fathom it.
You seem to be operating under the belief that Rubio is not just as much in favor of full-on invasion as Hegseth. I have seen absolutely nothing in the career of Marco Rubio to indicate that to be true.I feel physically ill that the decision to get us involved in a boots-on-the-ground soviet invasion of Afghanistan style quagmire in which thousands of young American men and women may die on foreign soil is going to come down to the fact that Hegseth has a few inches in height on Rubio and that's going to be the deciding factor for Trump (and in your heart of hearts you know this to be true).
Parsing Christians by those that are “real” or not based on one’s personal interpretation of the Bible is usually a fool’s errand for many reasons, often because the Bible contradicts itself constantly.Any person claiming to be a "Christian" who supports the deliberate bombing of children, hospitals, churches and residential buildings isn't a Christian at all. They are satanists who worship suffering and death.
You can't be a real Christian if you don't share Christ's compassion for fellow human beings. ESPECIALLY the innocent.
This should be a board PSA.I can only ask, At the end of the day each of us is free to chose our own paths on this board.

Now, get out of the Jewish book and go to the Gospels. Those are the words and deeds of Jesus Christ, something Christians might well pay more attention to.Parsing Christians by those that are “real” or not based on one’s personal interpretation of the Bible is usually a fool’s errand for many reasons, often because the Bible contradicts itself constantly.
In this case it doesn’t work because the god in the Bible is shown multiple times committing genocide. He orders the destruction of the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites and others. He says show no mercy. He specifically says to destroy the Amalekites and “all that they have” and kill man, woman, child and infant. So other Christians can just turn around and say it’s you who are not a real Christian if you don’t support genociding infants.
Unfortunately, if you believe in the Christian god you’re a real Christian no matter your position on killing babies in war.
I don't think you're in a position to speak for all Iraqis but, while they may not have been happy the US invaded, surely many of them appreciated the result, which was getting rid of a murderous, sociopathic dictator.Which is entirely NOT what her post was about. Nobody in Iraq is happy the US invaded...not even those people who celebrated when Saddam was arrested.
