I am not sure who exactly they reached out to, but his family has stated that no one will tell them his whereabouts. They were informed he was to have surgery this morning, but when they called the hospital, they denied that he was there. So they are still waiting for answers.

The patient has to agree before the hospital can reveal that he is a patient. Otherwise, the hospital’s response is standard procedure.

To me, I read it as him simply extorting other countries for us to escort them through the Strait of Hormusz. His attack on Iran literally closed it down, and he’s willing to let vessels through at a cost.

That would be his instinct but is his brain still able to be that calculating? I'd tend to believe he accidentally backed his way into this grift or someone is behind the curtain (i know i sound like repubs the entire Biden presidency).

Yeah, he’s definitely not bright enough to have foreseen this problem. But he is evil enough to take advantage of his own blunder.
