"Hey, our former allies that we've shit on and insulted since Trump's first term, why don't you help us solve this real mess that we've gotten ourselves into and can't seem to get out of by sending your sons and daughters into harm's way to die for our glorious Dear Leader and the war he started without consulting any of you? That's only fair, right? And hey, Denmark, we know we tried to steal Greenland from you, but why don't you send some ships down to the Persian Gulf to help us out of this jam? We're still good, right?" What a total joke the USA has become on the world stage.

LOL. If we have "completely decimated" Iran in every conceivable way, including military, then how the hell are they still blocking the Strait of Hormuz and shooting missiles and drones all over the place in the Middle East? Anybody with eyes who lives in reality knows that he's full of shit (as usual), but his MAGA base will continue to blindly believe whatever he says. As you said, he's clearly begging for help here, because they never planned for any of the consequences of bombing Iran, and arrogantly never thought that Iran would keep fighting this long or that they could close the Persian Gulf to tankers.
What I’m seeing more of is, “You liberals are pulling for our enemies to defeat us.”

Yeah, I've been seeing that too on facebook and other places. Which is pretty much how conservatives are in nearly every war. To criticize or question the war effort in any way - our reasons for starting it, the performance of the government leaders in running it, the consequences or economic pain being caused by it, and of course whether it was/is really worth it - is all quickly labeled as unpatriotic, un-American, even treasonous talk by conservatives. When in truth - and certainly in this case - the real "un-American" ones are the politicians who started this war with no real planning for the consequences or what Iran's response might be or how many lives may be lost or injured fighting it.

Soldiers are often just political and culture war footballs to these people. They use them similarly to the abortion wedge. In the end it serves status quo power structures.

I do not want us to lose. I do, however, want the allies we’ve been screwing for the last 15 months to tell us to go fuck ourselves.

Finally figured this out

Taking over Kennedy Center
Lots of wars amd insanity

Wants scenes for a remake of hisfave musical Evita, this time about DJT

"Don't cry for me MAGA Nation"

Lots of observers taking note that the Trump administration sent out economic and energy advisers to the Sunday shows today — soothing markets more than addressing the war.
Noticed that too. Defense people nowhere to be seen. From what we’ve seen of Wright, it’s pretty obvious why he hasn’t been rolled out more often. Hassett is descending into new levels of whoredom every week.
