Honestly, as much as I'd love to see him face SOME kind of justice, at this point the best thing for everybody - including MAGA nation - that could happen to him is for him to die. They'll eventually realize it was for the best (and if they don't then fuck 'em). Let me be clear - NOT assassination. As much as I despise Trump I would never advocate for political violence in any form - but natural causes doing its thing would be the best thing for the country and the world.

And it needs to hurry.

So not only are we providing a windfall to Russia in their war on Ukraine and as Russia provides intel (and likely weapons under cover of humanitarian aid convoys) to Iran, but we are now supporting Iran in funding it’s defense against the American-Israeli onslaught.

The first approximately 15 minutes of Shapiro's podcast raises some very interesting hypotheticals regarding Iran and the Middle East in general.

I cannot wrap my head around how dumb this all appears on the surface. It makes me convinced there must be an underlying conspiracy to tear down the US with Putin pulling the strings, tech oligarchs funding the GOP, and Bibi leveraging the idiot in Chief. Or it could be it’s just dumb.

It's all just planned chaos to distract from all the other horrible things Trump has done and the Epstein stuff.

Four thoughts:
(1) Perhaps influenced by LBJ's escapade in Vietnam, I hope St. Donald of Mar-A-Lago is preparing to do what LBJ refused to: declare victory and go home.
(2) Ten years from now, 13-year-old Iranian children are not going to be working in sweatshop factories making tennis shoes for Americans. Ten years from now, twenty something Iranian adults are going to be putting the finishing touches on ICBMs that can reach the United States.
(3) Big take-away for Iran, when dealing with people like St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago, it is vitally important to have compromising information in order to make him do what you want him to do.
(4) Starting to see the virtue of having politicians like Pete Buttigieg, who announce what would be otherwise be compromising information before running for public office.

It may have been at one point. But right now, and until it ends (in a way that is, at least, somewhat resolved), this is the most horrible thing of the Trump administration. And resolution that is simply “a return to status quo” seems pie-in-the-sky optimistic right now.
