He would probably love to tack it on to his trip to China. Don’t underestimate how important it is to him to have a signed agreement of some kind with Iran before heading to his state visit to China.

Will the trip to China still happen? If he had any competent advisors around him, I would say no to prevent him from being in such a weak and pathetic position. Oh well.
 
So, this is apparently the plan....

Trump spent billions, fucked up gas prices and lost American lives to get back to the point where Obama had gotten us, plus we are giving Iran more cash back?

Not sure of the cash you speak of, but you can 100% be sure that this does not end without Iran gaining money, whether it be release of their frozen funds, Strait tolls, or outright reconstruction and reparation aid from somebody.

Pretty much. Yesterday was another TACO Tuesday.

On Monday Trump threatens to blow the country of Iran up...while escorting ships through the strait. That didn't work as well as intended.

Hegseth yesterday morning indicated that Operation Epic Fury was sort of on pause while Operation Freedom (escorting ships continues. Sec. Rubio suggests something similar. Then last night on Truth Social Trump surrenders - says the war is now over (forget the nuclear obliteration and regime change objectives)...and the objective now is to somehow reset the Strait of Hormuz to before the war and some JCPOA agreement. lol

...and meanwhile Israel goes Gaza style on southern Lebanon - a sovereign country that would like to cooperate and remove Hezbollah and IDF.
 
Thank goodness the Iran war is ending with a new regime dedicated to world peace and mutual prosperity, a strait of hormuz open to all with no risk of closure ever again, complete disbandment of their nuclear program, removal of ability to ever create missiles or drones again, increased love of Muslims everywhere for the United states, increased worldwide respect for US diplomacy and moral standing, demonstration that our military can achieve any goal without actually using the army, and immediate return to the good times and normalcy in the UAE, Dubai and other 'fun muslim' places.
