Not sure I agree. I don’t trust the religious to interpret what is meaningful.

I guess, like everything else, it's on a scale. Some do, some don't.

One of the more surprising bits of data I've pondered over the last decade or so is the fact that 70% or so of Christians believe that other faiths can lead to God. Many Americans Say Other Faiths Can Lead to Eternal Life

I think that in this, like in so many other examples, the tradition as a whole gets characterized by its critics according to its worst elements.
