Yesterday, NPR ran a program focusing on the starvation of babies and children in Gaza.

Damn, that story was heartbreaking AND annoying. Instead of a factual story, NPR let the screaming, whining cries from infants dominate the story. No one, NO ONE, wants to listen to babies cry! I don’t want to hear screaming babies while running errands.

So what if it’s an 18 month-old toddler who weighs 7 pounds…..whose vertebrae look like they’ll cut through his skin…….so what if his Mom is so skinny she can’t produce breast milk.

I don’t want to hear screaming and crying kids during news reports. That’s just unacceptable….to broadcast little children and babies screaming.

We need neutral, pleasant news.

Other nations refused to participate in the in the GHF because it was obvious that Israel and the U.S. were using food access to dislocate and concentrate vulnerable civilians in dangerous spaces. The attacks by military on Palestinians in the prison-like food queues were widely predicted as a risk of the GHF strategy (which also entailed preventing the UN from providing food distribution at neighborhood sites throughout Gaza).

Two leading human rights organisations based in Israel, B’Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights, say Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and the country’s western allies have a legal and moral duty to stop it.

In reports published on Monday, the two groups said Israel had targeted civilians in Gaza only because of their identity as Palestinians over nearly two years of war, causing severe and in some cases irreparable damage to Palestinian society.
Western nations do have an obligation but so do the Israeli people. They should not get a pass for allowing their government to be monsters. Just as we are responsible for the chaos Trump brings to the world and deserve the ire of the world, so do the Israelis.

Trump all over the map, but at least here acknowledges some suffering … of course, a lot of those real, strong lines for food that he blames on Hamas or “whoever” and says he wants to get rid of are the planned process of the U.S./Israeli GHF …

He's just happy to be getting questions about a subject other than Epstein.

It is hilarious that he acts like he can do what he wants-like he is king of the world

🎁 -> ‘Revenge Is Not a Policy’: Israelis Voice Dissent Against the War in Gaza

The top comment on this NY article mentioned this bit .... unreal.

"About three-quarters of Israeli Jews thought that Israel’s military planning should not take into account the suffering of the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza, or should do so only minimally, according to another recent survey by the Israel Democracy Institute, a nonpartisan research group in Jerusalem."

Based on this, its not a horrible leap to state that the Israeli people are becoming precisely the kind of people they ostensibly live in fear of.
