It’s really bad. Before, flour and other items may have been found in some stores, but were extremely expensive. Now, there is nothing. There were journalists that have given up covering because they have no more energy. People are mixing salt with water because they have nothing to eat. It’s past the danger point. The number of people that will die is devastating. Seeing images of malnutritioned babies is heartbreaking, especially when the formula they need is only a few miles away in trucks that are being blocked.

I’m so sorry. The people responsible will pay one day.
 
I post this not because I endorse Segal’s central POV but because he is a very influential journalist in Israel who has been a denier of a lot of the reports of suffering in Gaza as Hamas propaganda. Even here, he seems unconcerned about starvation of Palestinians except as it impacts Western support of Netanyahu and the IDF and related calculations by Hamas.

From what I’ve read, if Segal is amplifying claims of starvation risk in Gaza, that is something that will be heard by many Israelis.

I doubt they will.

Israel will cover Bibi regardless. The US will cover Israel regardless.

Israel has nuclear weapons. The Bibis in Israel are WILLING to use their nukes.

Israel has either the 2nd most effective or most effective military in the world. Whose Air Force would challenge Israel?
