This is really stupid, IMO. There’re likely a lot of dynamics in the race I don’t understand, but Mamdani doesn’t need to appear harsher towards Israel to gain supporters.

Saying this invites Trump and Bibi to demonstrate the flaccidity of the threat. If Mamdani orders bibi arrested, it’s more likely NYPD would reject his order, making Mamdani appear completely ineffectual, and leading to the typical pattern of cops quiet quitting and higher crime stats. Also, even if there’s aattempt to arrest him, bibi’s security, and quite possibly US SS, will violently defend him.

I wonder how credible that report is. I honestly don't know. I could definitely see a scenario where it would be of course the White House knew. There is no way that Israel is going to attack a US Ally without White House approval.

And then I can see a scenario where Israel has lied about so many other things, should I believe them on this?
