—> South Sudan ‘approves’ Israeli plan to send Gazans to country
[I’ve never tried to gift from the Telegraph before, so not 100% sure if it will work]
Israel Is Quietly in Talks to Relocate Palestinians From Gaza
Libya, South Sudan and Syria are among the countries Israel has spoken to in its effort to move hundreds of thousands from the enclave

“… Israel’s talks to resettle Gazans in South Sudan or Libya are continuing, some of the people said. Earlier talks to settle Palestinians in Syria or Somaliland—a breakaway region of Somalia—didn’t make much progress, one of the people said.
Most of the destinations under consideration have their own problems with civil strife and economic dislocation and would likely struggle to absorb hundreds of thousands of migrants. Their battered conditions, however, have opened the possibility of deals that might confer economic support or other benefits in exchange for taking in people relocated from Gaza or elsewhere.…”
This relatively meager humanitarian gesture is getting pushback from the anti-immigrant and Islamophobic far right.
They can't. Nearly 90% of aid is being highjacked by Hamas. If Hamas is stealing the food and charging exorbitant prices, why don’t they just flood Gaza with food so that Hamas no longer has that leverage? Supply and demand. It’s not like there’s any shortage of aid available.
Any surrender is temporary as long as Hamas is running Gaza. Any ceasefire is just an opportunity for Hamas to reload and reorganize as long as Hamas runs Gaza.Perhaps Hamas could just surrender and then the war would be over and the Palestinian civilians could actually start to have a life again?
Nah, who am I kidding. Hamas would never want to do something like that.
