What does that have to do with anything? Do you have a contract where you have to mention October 7th in every post you make?
Because you continue to seem wholly unconcerned about the reason for this war. The reason being that, like your friends, many Israelis lost their friends and family members on October 7th but, hey, it wasn't a Jewish holiday so apparently the fighting wasn't in bad taste.

The irony - it is the religion, on which the holidays are based, that are the reason Palestinians are in this situation.

WTF are you talking about? Your schtick is getting old

Here's hoping the parties can at least resolve quickly the issues which caused the end of the cease fire.

I appreciate RaiGuy's first(?) or second hand perspective on this dispute even though I may not agree with it 100%.

“… Israel said its forces were moving into a key corridor that bisects the Gaza Strip across its center line, aiming to partly split the northern and southern halves of the territory. It said other forces would be positioned in the south and ready to operate in Gaza.

The troop movements further roll back gains Hamas made under a two-month cease-fire and are part of a strategy of gradually ramping up pressure on the U.S.-designated terrorist group. They came as Egypt floated a proposal for Hamas to release a limited number of hostages in exchange for an immediate halt to the strikes.

Arab mediators said the proposal, which was presented to Israel and Hamas late Tuesday, called for the return of 21-year old American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander along with the bodies of four other U.S. hostages in exchange for a cease-fire that would last at least a month and the commencement of negotiations to end the war.

Israel and Hamas hadn’t responded to the proposal. The Israeli prime minister’s office declined to comment, but Israel and the U.S. rejected a similar offer from Hamas last week. Hamas didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Neither side has negotiators actively in Cairo. …”

The city of Miami pressured a local theater to stop showing an academy award winning film on what is happening in the West Bank under pressure from Jewish groups threatening to revoke the theater's lease. The city quickly reversed course after pressure from a lot more people led by creatives and free speech advocates. Overall its been a bit of a boon for the theater as they are selling out screenings and adding shows.

Alawites to the grave and Christians to Beirut

An early slogan during the Syrian Civil War seems to be active again.
