Yup. As I have said numerous times on here, the Palestinian civilians are caught between two terrible forces - one that doesn’t give a damn if it kills them and the other that welcomes civilian casualties because they help its PR battle.
Both "terrible forces" appear to emanate from the same source - the immoral Israeli government. Bibi does like to kill him some Palestinians and he loves the PR he gets for it. No wonder he and Trump are so close.

This is also not even close to true. Israel may not be intentionally trying to maximize civilian casualties, but their conduct of this war shows a blatant disregard for the safety of noncombatants.
No blame for Hamas? I guess they are just nice people, right? Always looking out for their constituents?

Of course Hamas could stop fighting and it would all be over. Seems they are just fighting to keep international support behind them and try to stay in power (I believe they are in about the 20th year of a 4 year term) , to hell with their women and children. Students will be back at school soon to lend their support.
That’s what I said a couple of days ago. Know when you are defeated. Just like Germany and Japan in 1945. This war could be over tomorrow if Hamas would simply surrender.

Let's dig into this a bit. What would a Hamas surrender actually look like? I think there are real questions about whether Israel would even accept a "surrender."

It's not just me who doesn't believe Israel is committing genocide.
We discussed this on posts 2072-2074 on this thread, but this is how I define genocide:
According to the 1948 International Genocide Convention it means committing acts "with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group."
I don't see actions that make me believe Israel intends to destroy Palestinians in Gaza. I see the opposite. They warn civilians. They use targeted attacks. Just the low number of civilian deaths is reflective of a lack of intent. Israel could, if they desired, kill 50k Palestinians in an hour if not less.

And Dahmer could have killed a lot more quickly than he did. Doesn't mean he had any less of an intent to do so eventually. It meant he knew too much heat was bad for business. Bibi is in the same mold.

Yes. Theirs is informed. Yours is a willful misreading of a treaty you don't understand and a complete ignorance of everything that has happened since. An "opinion" without basis is trash.
There is nothing in the definition of genocide that requires it to be conducted as quickly as it possibly could be. Russia could destroy the globe with nukes in 15 minutes, so I guess that means they can't commit genocide.
And "intent" doesn't mean what you think it does, as every lawyer -- even Ramrouser! -- knows. Intent does not require a confession. Intent is not cloaked by plausible deniability. Intent can be inferred from actions, as well as statements.
I'm not talking about this with you any more. I don't fraternize with arrogant mooks.
