Last night Jon Stewart showed 13 years of Netanyahu saying Iran is on the verge of having a nuclear weapon.

How it feels to me -It’s actually closer to 30 years.
Also, “unconditional surrender”? Were we at war? Who exactly is “surrendering”?
Iran is such an interesting case. Other than Iran itself and their terrorist proxies around the ME, I don't think there's ANYONE who wants Iran to have a nuke. I am extremely nervous about what's happening right now, but if Israel actually does figure out a way to destroy Fordow, I won't be shedding any tears.Netanyahu is playing Trump like a fiddle. He's goaded the US into a war of opportunity to remove nuclear capabilities for several years. That's certainly not a bad thing, but we will reap the whirlwind - we are entering fraught and unpredictable times. Absent any willing ground forces - who would supply them? - i would rate regime change as improbable.
Among many others, the Israelis, probably laundered through someone like the UAE or Qatar. And yes, I know those are Sunni countries.Who is going to be giving this help?
I think there are some countries in Central America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East that have a different idea on whom the crown of "largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world" should reside.. . .. Whether or not the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world has a nuclear weapon is an issue that should interest all of us.
Israel has blown up Gaza indiscriminately and I would never expect the Palestinians to forgive them. I haven't seen evidence yet that Israel has done the same in Iran. For better or worse, Israel's strikes in Iran appear to be exceptionally targeted and accurate, at least so far.So the people who blew them up hard enough to topple their government will be their benefactors? I have a hard time seeing that.
May not have this opportunity again in our lifetime? The US should assist Israel in taking out Fordow. Iran is in a weakened state and the West may not have this opportunity again in our lifetime. That should be our focus not regime change - let the Israelis handle that - if they can. Based upon Trump's tweet, the US may have sent an ultimatum to what's left of the military leadership of Iran, to "surrender" or we'll send our bunker buster bomb to destroy Fordow after x days.
I realize there's a potential huge downside in the US actively assisting Israel offensively and there may be blow back but, on balance, I think it's worth it.
