Israel launches attack on Iran | US bombs Iran nuke sites

Alright, forgive what is likely a dumb question but it’s been a little while since I took Civics. Does the president have Constitutional authority to unilaterally launch military strikes against other countries without Congressional approval?
No. The president doesn't.

But did you expect the current White House occupier to follow the Constitution this time?

I'll delete the post if it is already answered. Israel doesn't have a plane big enough to carry bombs as big as the GBU-57 series.
Gotcha- no idea why, but I didn’t know that. For whatever reason I assumed they had some of our B-2’s.

It is a gray area.

My recollection is that Clinton did not have congressional authorization for Serbia or Kosovo (maybe belatedly Kosovo).

Yeah. Anyone who thinks that there won’t be Iranian retaliation, either directly or (more likely) by proxy, and subsequent escalation, is abjectly clueless.

That’s not to say that I don't support the Iranian regime being forcefully parted with its ability to develop nuclear weapons. I’m just not certain that THIS was the way to go about it. (And, to be fair, I don’t know enough to have any belief that it’s not the way to do it, either). Just sucks that it seems that another Middle Eastern war with direct United States involvement is imminent.
