Israel launches attack on Iran

Disrespectful to you, sure. Respect is earned. Defending the pieces of shit you defend garners zero respect. I spent 18 months living with two palestinians and heard many awful stories. I also heard many horrible stories about how palestinians were treated by hamas and that hamas couldn't have cared less about the palestinians other than how they could be exploited for political gain and used for strategic purposes in the quest to kill israelies. I heard all about the ways in which palestinians allowed hamas to take over political control of palestine. So when I say palestine sold their soul and brought some of this on themselves I know exactly what the fuck I'm talking about unless you don't think 17 year old palestinian girls have any idea what daily life was like and why they lived the way they did.
Seriously, calla. Go fuck yourself. Anyone who would type out that post should take some time to examine where you stand at this moment. I know it's hard, but if you have any shame, this is the moment to experience it.

So the Palestinians in the West Bank told you that too? You're just making shit up. Also, show me one time where I defended Hamas. Stop making bullshit accusations. I also doubt any Palestinian would live with you, unless you had taken them hostage.

I don't think you're a complete idiot, which is why I held out hope that once you saw what Trump 2.0 would actually look like, you'd repent of your sins and join the real world. You've proved to me that even people with an IQ north of 60 can still find a way to support this train wreck of an administration. It's disappointing to the extreme, but I'm done making excuses for you.
You need not make any excuses for me. I haven't changed one bit since the last election. You on the other hand have become much more nasty, far less open minded, and consumed with bitterness in ways that I would expect from someone far less educated and worldly (almost in a CF way). You seem to have lost the ability to discern nuance and generalities from specifics and talking points. Maybe your hatred has grown worse. My feelings about trump are the same today that they were prior to the election.

You could also just say, "Sorry. I was a dick. I don't want to be a dick so I'm sorry about the dickish comment I made."

But you do you. Whatever inflates your ego.
I'm an old testament guy in the respect of an eye for an eye kind of thing. You act like a dick to me and that is what you get in return. For you to make that comment just shows how oblivious you are to the general discourse on this board. Will probably have a heart attack when you call out one of your frat brothers on here for being a dick to someone like Ram, who tries and mostly succeeds in trying to discuss things above the childish and insecure attacks. Also, take a dose of your own medicine and quit being a dick.

We know the typical "next two weeks" reply from Trump is his default position on pretty much any issue or plan. That has been a pretty good strategy especially because media forget the the "next two weeks" and move on to the next shiny object Trump tosses their way.

The potential good news is that the "next two weeks" has a history of passing with Trump having done or accomplished nothing.

If only Trump would expand his "next two weeks" to the "next 180 weeks"

and gaza. The one from gaza said israel would cut their power for 12 hrs a day, but at random times which was hard because her grandmother had a piece of medical equipment that required power. You indirectly defend them all the time but are to much of a vagina to come right out and say it. You downplayed / gave underlying reasons for Oct 7. Israel brought it on themselves right?

Plenty of us on here tried mightily to be respectful and have exchanges with you but you routinely threw that away in favor of your shithead board persona.

Its sad, honestly, that you act the way you do on here.

It is not our fault that Buckhead lawyer continues, over and over again, to write posts that are deeply ignorant of basic concepts of law. He then uses that stupidity to attack people, both on this board and in general.

If a lawyer can't distinguish between allegations and evidence -- as Ram failed to, this very afternoon -- then not only should he not be a lawyer, but he has nothing to contribute to any intelligent discussion. I'm embarrassed on his behalf, and I don't even like the guy.

I'm confident that every other President this century would make the decision to bomb Fordow. While it's certainly not a no brainer, the changing landscape on the ground means that we have a high likelihood we can eradicate Iran's current nuclear capability when Hezbollah and Hamas can't counter.

This accomplishes an important near-term strategic objective and would also bring military action against Iran to a conclusion.

I am skeptical that negotiation will achieve any useful result. Recent history indicates that Iran is hellbent on developing a bomb and negotiation is being used to buy time.

Not an easy call, but a pretty clear one, in my opinion.

What is sad is that you seem incapable of discussing politics with anyone you disagree with without making it personal. That's your flaw, not mine. I'm perfectly capable of discussing a political issue with you without attacking you personally or having a disagreement or political impasse turn nasty. So far I have been told to fuck off, I have no decency, a shithead, blah blah blah. I'm not the one being nasty. You guys just can't rise above it.

You directly defend a government committing a genocide and that is starving a population. Your only counter argument is to name call and call me a terrorist supporter. You show that you know nothing about the history of the region.

Not sure those things can be accomplished without boots on the ground.

US intel was saying the nuke bomb progress was far from fruition. So why not give diplomacy a chance? Most of their scientists are dead. A bunch of their military has been decimated. They probably can't afford NOT to negotiate, and Iran hasn't closed that door.

Does it say they used our weapons, our tax payer money and our intel and backed by our military assets and point defense?

Now the Ukranians, THEY are amazing. Modern day Spartans. Awe inspiring.
What is amazing to me is that the Russian's haven't been able to establish superiority in a country next door, where they have years of assets.

Maybe, but are you willing to go to war with Iran? Or are you willing to send your children to the Middle East to fight Iran?

If not, then maybe it's not a clear call.
