I am curious about the accident rate per mile for self driving cars vs humans. (Not curious enough to google it but enough to ask the question.)

I wonder what rate will be considered acceptable? I am guessing it would be far lower than the rate of human accidents/deaths, which is somewhat irrational but understandable.
