And we should be able to do things in parallel, so we shouldn't be limited to one thing at a time.

I see a great number of ideas on this thread. It would be nice to see them delivered and make people's lives better.

Then maybe they would appreciate government.

I started one awhile back, but I'm sure it is 20 page deep be now.
 
So putting on my HeelYeah/ 1%Trumper hat, here is what I would like to see:

1 ) increase the capital gain tax exemption on primary home sales for couples( like me ) from 500k to 2 million

2 ) Eliminate IRMAA

3 ) Eliminate income tax on passive income, eg stock dividends and interest payments

4 ) Eliminate taxation on IRA/401k withdrawals

Then I would be able to buy dozens of boxes of cookies to support the Girl Scouts of America, buy a few hammers for Habitat for Humanity, and increase my yearly contribution to the Ram's Club ;)

Yeah that might sound like a good idea for one day (it doesn't to me) but after a week would you want to drink anything coming out of the sugar-and-molded over pipes?
