Something interesting in the complaint....

There's a reference to reviewing purchases going back to 2018 all the way to 2025, including November of 2025. Does that not imply that there is new evidence related to November purchases?

COLE’s Purchases of Bombmaking Equipment

The FBI has identified one bank checking account and six credit cards (the “Accounts”) used by COLE. The FBI obtained records for the checking account and three credit cards for the
time period January 2018 to January 2021. Three additional credit cards were obtained for the time period of January 2018 to November 2025. The FBI reviewed the transaction history for all of
these Accounts.

“… His grandmother described him as “almost autistic-like, because he doesn’t understand a lot of stuff,” and he worked for the family bail bonds company, Brian Cole Bail Bonds.

Cole wrote his interests are: “Parkour, music, video games (mainly horror), drawing, improving myself philosophically, anime,” in a profile on another Tumblr account.

He also responded to a question about what makes him feel better when he’s in a bad mood with: “Smashing my head on my keyboard…”

Wait — prolly too squishy to get a Trump pardon (unless he has $5 million + stashed somewhere to buy a pardon)

In lieu of cash payment, he will speak about the 2020 Election being rigged. That may be enough for Trump to decide the defendant was treated very unfairly.

Alleged D.C. pipe bomber Brian Cole appearing in court for arguments over his continued detention

“… Justice Department lawyers have argued in court papers that Brian Cole, 30, poses an "intolerable risk" to the community and should continue to be detained. He faces two criminal charges stemming from the alleged planting of two improvised explosive devices in the vicinity of the RNC and DNC headquarters in Washington, D.C., nearly five years ago. He has not yet entered a plea to the charges.

… Cole told investigators during an interview after his arrest that he had driven to Washington, D.C., on Jan. 5 to attend a protest over the outcome of the 2020 election and did not tell his family he was going to a protest in support of Mr. Trump, prosecutors said. He said that after the 2020 election, he began following the issue on YouTube and Reddit "when it first seemed like something was wrong" and "stuff started happening," according to Justice Department filings. He said that "if people feel that their votes are like just being thrown away, then . . . at the very least someone should address it," prosecutors said.…”

But …

“… Cole's lawyers have argued in court papers that he should not be kept in custody while awaiting a trial, as he has lived "without incident" for the past four years. They said that Cole has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Level 1 is the mildest form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition.

Cole's legal team also argued that he has no criminal history and said there is "zero evidence" to suggest he would flee ahead of a trial. He agreed to home detention with GPS monitoring, and would be supervised by his grandmother, according to court filings….”

He's black, decreasing the chances of a Trump pardon considerably. Also, he should have tried to steal some public money while doing it.

Trump has a history of granting pardons to black people (especially in his first term) and the woman who is his pardon czar is a black woman he pardoned during his first term.

Which makes this a case with a lot of cross-currents for him. MAGA had convinced themselves this case was a coverup of deep state direction of J6. Now that it is another guy who bought the Big Lie about 2020? It seems like he too should get a free pass …

But that was all at the behest of Kanye and Kim, IIRC. It's possible Trump is more celebrity goggled than he is racist, but anyway he's not listening to his pardon czar, is he?

She actually has gotten some pardons done but he has a different pay for play process as well.

Pardon List here: Clemency Grants by President Donald J. Trump (2025-Present)

The low level drug and theft ones since March are generally from the Pardon czar. But way more are fraud cases — not her.
