France celebrates Bastille Day every year with a military parade. Countries like Spain, Belgium and Ireland will do so on special occasion like the 100 year anniversary of Ireland's Easter Rising.

Everything Trump does is not the end of the Republic.

He is goading protesters to show up to what may turn into a giant game of chicken, particularly after the events in LA over the last week.
 
I’m now worried some lefties will attempt to disrupt the parade and try and emulate “tank man” in Tiananmen Square. I hope that doesn’t happen.

And those are just the mass incidents. There are so many "sovereign citizen" individual crimes and violence, including stupid shit like attack on power transformers in the woods.

Of course there are some high-profile left attacks because Trump is in power, but don't let that fool you into think the right-wing nut jobs have retired.
 
2022? how many ICErs kidnapped people today? how many cops beat protesters in LA yesterday? Those guys are 99.5% right. Not to mention your daily diddling of children by "Christians," attacks on trans people, run of the mill beating of women? 97+% right.

Now of course these are smart disaffected men longing to trust and wounded by liberal elites who don't hear their salt of the earth voices - but they are right wingers.

There's no doubt that it could happen, but I can't say I'm concerned about it happening. Sounds like must see TV to me.

Since it is happening, I hope everything goes fine and things don’t get ugly. Given the state of escalation in LA, it almost seems that Trump wants to have protesters descend on his birthday bash. I hope people mostly ignore it and there o a process to repair the damage the heavy equipment does to the District’s infrastructure…
