It looked like Big Ballz caught a pretty severe ass whipping. If that was staged then props to all involved for committing to the bit.

Police arrived as the assault was happening and, as far as I know, they haven't disputed the account.

Police report differed from the initial narrative. Also, impressive that DC was so well policed that they arrived at a crime in progress without being called - yet the story was used as predicate for the state of emergency requiring military deployment on the streets.

What's being reported is that the police showed up as the assault was happening and that caused the attackers to run. Big Balls and his significant other didn't run.

Two, or maybe three, of those who ran were charged with attempted carjacking.

What’s conspiracy about that? The story was mentioned, even by the President, as evidence that the military needed to be deployed in DC.

You doubt the reports of the police as they rolled up to him surrounded by 10 people attempting to carjack him? Why do you doubt that?

What you seem to be implying is that the situation was staged to be used as justification for Trump using the NG in DC. The police didn't just happen to show up; they were called and that situation just happened to be the cause of the NG being used in DC.
 
Before we argue too much, let’s refresh ourselves on the initial damsel in distress narrative and the story being used as a predicate for military deployment on.
