I realize this site isn't the demo for this music but figured worth a thread for the few who might be interested

Has anyone heard this? Because it's incredible. A long anticipated album has never delivered like this for me personally

For those not familiar, it would be like Bruce Springsteen releasing one of his best albums in 1995. Or Rolling Stones best work coming in 1990

Even with 90s rappers like Nas releasing very good music in the last few years, this one is different

On par or better than the music that made them famous 24 years ago

Yep, it's a banger of an album.

I'm not saying I thought it wouldn't be good, but I am surprised at how absolutely great it is.

It's what making commercial hip-hop with integrity looks like. If such a thing exists

20+ years and working with the same people. Night and day compared to what someone like Lil Wayne has been doing

It's also a reminder of how far hip-hop has fallen

I haven't listened to it yet. Wanna give a review?
I've been a huge fan of Wu since the beginning...when I was 11. My older brother took me, along with some of his friends, to one of their shows in 94 and I just saw them several days ago (along with RTJ - who are also fire by the way). So, that's a little over 30 years of fandom, many albums, and many other shows. All that to say, I'm probably fairly biased in my opinion :)

I haven't been as big of a fan of Rae's music since he starting approaching his music from a more cerebral angle, or, as he says, a more righteous mindset. But, I still enjoy his music. For me, my favorite songs are the collabs with Griselda (I fucking love a lot of their shit), Ghost, and Ghost x Meth - Ghost has remained consistently my favorite of the group, but Meth has been spitting fucking darts lately. Nas' verse was solid.

After one listen, sharp lyrics, beats are solid, definitely worth the listen. I'm looking forward to going through it again tomorrow, as I'm sure new things will stand out.

If you get a chance to listen to it, I'd be curious to get your thoughts.
