Let’s talk about Somali fraud

What’s the non racist position to take on Somali fraud? Ignore it and allow them to fleece taxpayers for 9B+? That appears to be the position of Minnesota officials.
The non-racist position is to oppose ALL fraud. Prosecute it. Hold people accountable. trump has proven he is not opposed to fraud. He has pardoned white people convicted of fraud. He has been convicted of falsifying business records.

The federal government began investigating fraud in Minnesota in 2022 which included many in the Somali community. It wasn't partisan. It wasn't racist. It was the way justice is supposed to work.

Do you have any evidence that the position of Minnesota officials is to ignore it and allow 9B+ of fraud, or is that another racist lie?

Who is ignoring it? The DOJ has been prosecuting, and getting convictions of, dozens of people for this fraud over the last several years. Is that not what you want?

BTW Trump's position on fraud actually is "ignore it" and let the perpetrators get away with fleecing their victims for hundreds of millions of dollars.

The fraud is apparently against the federal government and therefore outside of the jurisdiction of Minnesota officials. It is the place of the FBI to investigate such fraud and the DOJ to prosecute it. Have Minnesota officials in some way impeded such investigation and prosecution? I am asking this honestly because I do not know the answer.

No. It was federal funds but it was administered by the Minnesota department of education. The ringleader has also accused Walz and other government officials of knowledge of the scheme but looking the other way to get support from the Somali community and to avoid accusations of racism. Of course she is facing three decades in prison so she would love to cooperate and help the feds hook a bigger fish.

Then why pardon all those white fraudsters? Why not go after fraud in other cities ?
Campaign donations/bribes. The same reason he pardoned several Hispanic and at least one Asian fraudster. Most, but not all, of the pardons of black people seem to be celebrities probably with the goal of increasing support amongst black voters. Seems they got off cheap.

And again, the fraud is against the federal government no matter who administered the program. PPP funding was almost all issued by private lenders but all fraud investigations and prosecutions go through the feds.

And if there is the implication that those in Minnesota are involved, all the more reason for all investigation and prosecution to happen at the Federal level. So again, have Minnesota officials worked against the FBI or DOJ in investigating this fraud?

There are allegations that Walz and the attorney general retaliated against whistleblowers in the state government. So yeah, if that's true, they interfered with the investigation.

But they're just allegations. If they're not proven true then we only have something between $9 billion of lack of oversight to outright corruption facilitating $9B in fraud. Probably some of both.

Where are you getting these numbers?

Yeah, and there are allegations that Donald Trump finger fucked little girls to determine how much to auction them for. You aren't repeating those as some kind of justificational what-if.

"In December 2025, the House Oversight Committee launched an investigation into the extensive money laundering and fraud in Minnesota’s social services programs that has been uncovered by the U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota. Criminals in Minnesota have stolen an estimated $9 billion in taxpayer funds intended to feed children, support autistic children, house low-income and disabled Americans, and provide healthcare to vulnerable Medicaid recipients."

I think that's mostly because the people that do repeat those kinds of unfounded claims are conspiracy nuts.

So a partisan committee said this is their estimate? Yeah, that convinces me.

Oh, of all those convictions of fraud in Minnesota, how many were cases developed under Trump and how many were either under Biden or developed from investigations under him?

Btw, the head of the group that so many of the Somalis worked with was a white woman.
