At the store yesterday shopping for shampoo, I stumbled upon a Suave 2-in-1 advertising a scent of "Marine drift and wood."
I have to admit, I find this product design baffling. The point of shower products is to remove smells like decaying organic matter, not to create them. And this is a product aimed at men. I can't imagine the trauma of being unable to get it up because of ED and then showering oneself with anything vaguely reminiscent of rotten wood.
What are other examples of mind-boggling product design. I'm not talking about marketing snafus like the famous Chevy Nova debacle. I would assert that Marine Drift scented shampoo is to hygiene products as the car Homer Simpson designed is to automobiles. Just a complete dumpster fire from the outset.
