March Madness - Final Four is set

Everybody is saying the real championship game is between Arizona and Michigan. That tells me whoever wins that game will have a let down game on Monday leading to Illinois or UConn winning it all. (Probably Uconn getting #7).
All 4 teams are capable of winning. This de facto championship game chatter is nonsense.

Correction. Veesaar is the traitor who left UA.
Are free agents in professional sports traitors? What about players that are essentially asked to leave by their head coach, such as Love and Cadeau? Are they traitors, too?

What about employees who switch jobs? Are they traitors too?

How did you take him saying chasing that a player for 3-4 years in high school is wasted time and resources ?

He is talking about old world college basketball

High school players aren't being recruited for 3 and 4 years anymore

When did Carolina get involved with Caleb Wilson?

I don’t recall the exact timeline but it was fairly recent

That sounds more like Michigan than Arizona to me

Arizona hasn't had a let down game all season. Well oiled machine

Michigan has a lower floor. Poor shooting from 3 or a really poor Cadeau game and they can lose

I only consider a player a traitor if they leave in a negative way to screw over a school and go to a conference team or rival.

See Mensah, Darian.

Best I can tell:

Michigan has zero 5 stars on its team
Illinois has zero 5 stars on its team
UCONN has one 5 star and potential OAD on its team ( Mullins )
Arizona has two 5 stars and potential OADs on its team (Burries and Peat )
I'm don't think
I think it would sting some if Cadeau and Michigan win the title after Carolina let him go.
Meh, he's their 4th or 5th best player. The way guys move around now this type of thing is going to happen.

It would definitely have hurt had Michigan knocked the Heels out of the tournament with Cadeau having a big game.

UNC was good health and a good PG from being a title contender this year.

I would like to see an Illinois and Michigan championship game, I would prefer Illinois to cut the nets.... but I would be happy for Cadeau if he had a big game and Michigan won the championship

I wouldn't say meh about Cadeau on FF Michigan...

4th leading scorer averaging 10pts/game and 6 assists/game shooting 37% from the 3 point line in 27 minutes of play

Word is Cadeau wanted 2 million to stay for his junior year and we said take a hike

How much did we pay for the transfer portal PG and what were his stats ?

Word was we paid 1.2-we were in a desperation mode after missing on several to targets
And his stats are not worth looking up

so we paid the transfer PG 1.2 million ? Was that Evans ? Please tell me that wasn't Evans.

Yeah, you don't want to look up the stats for Dixon or Evans or any guard not named Trimble...

I wouldn’t mind seeing Illinois win either. That’s who I’m pulling for anyway. That’s the team who knocked out the team that beat us. I always tend to do that

I dunno. The Illini fans are such chap asses about 2005, that I'd prefer to see Arizona or Michigan win.

Right after the championship game against Illinois I was in Vegas and sat down at a blackjack table where two guys wearing Illinois gear were sitting and I had on a UNC shirt. One guy made a disgruntled comment to his friend and after that they proceeded to catch a shitty wave of cards while I hit a bunch of great hands in a row. They left quite pissed off so I’m guessing they are still pretty chapped!

I don’t mind if either of those win, really. I think we’re in agreement ABUCONN.
For me though, in reality, Michigan/Arizona is a coin flip and I’ll be happy for either one for winning the Semi. But because Lloyd turned us down, I don’t want him to get the ring. And if you think Illini are insufferable, and have chapped asses, think on Michigan in the 90’s. Besides, I don’t like the way Cadeau left us hanging. Kid got all that playing time and all those starts… got paid his NIL standard too no doubt. And he left us hanging. So, I won’t shed a tear if Michigan doesn’t win it.

Pulling for Arizona and Illinois. Two most likable and interesting teams

Slightly surprised to see Michigan open as the favorite. Feels like a true pk at worst
