It's always so nice having dook fans post on our board getting the feels about how special their players are and how impressive they look heading for another Final Four. If I had wanted to read love letters from dook fans to their team I would go to a dook sports forum. <sigh>

We don't post on UNC sports threads. In fact most of us have those hidden.

It technically is a board started by a Kansas guy when the UNC politics page was taken down. So, I'm not sure it is a sports board or a UNC board, even if most of the denizens are Heels based on the origin story.

I mean to be honest the ZZL was always very much open to people from all over. And this is run by a Kansas guy. We have Clemson people, a Georgia tech guy, a Miami guy...

And that makes it really fun IMO

It's actually nice banter which is a nice reprieve from the toxicity elsewhere online

I agree that this place is a nice reprieve from toxic forums elsewhere, and the political discussions are open to anybody, but when it comes to sports it's definitely an overwhelmingly UNC sports board. Nothing against you, but given UNC's current sports troubles I've not really been in the mood to read about dook's wonderful success in the tourney so far. I guess I'll just avoid visiting this thread for awhile until the tourney is over, or dook gets knocked out, whichever comes first.

I had to smack down kik on IC for this, didn't think Snoop would fall into the same trap.

He can't turn down what was never offered. His bad karma was for withdrawing from the process, not from turning us down.

As possibly the only Illinois alumni on the board, I would also be happy if Duke had a difficult time with the Illini. At a minimum, I could count on the support of the majority of the board. First things first though, the Hawkeyes. They're obviously playing well and in the sole game between Illinois and Iowa this year (@Iowa), Illinois won by 6. Expect this to be a good, close game.
