As his campaign funds have dried up and the state and national party apparatus has abandoned him like rats fleeing a sinking ship, Robinson has virtually vanished from television, radio, and the interwebs. I wonder if he's still carrying around those life-size cardboard cutouts of Trump and Melania to prop up at his campaign rallies so he can pretend that they're still supporting him. Pathetic, really.

An old man that lives near me (yes he is older than me, lol) just put up a Robinson sign
I just don't get it
 
A friend of mine is a Republican County Commissioner in Alexander County. They (the AC Republican group) held a "victory" rallly for and hosted Mark Robinson last week. I haven't asked my buddy if he really supports him or just feels like he has to given his place in local politics.

Anyway, he sent me a picture of the 2 of them. Ironically, they were standing in front of a wall honoring various people that had contributed to the local community (business leaders, volunteers, etc). On the plaque directly behind them was "Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams," founders of the furniture company of the same name that was based in Alexander County. They are both gay (one time a couple) and very vocal leaders of gay rights in the area. I don't think my friend saw the irony. He's probably never heard the things Mark Robinson has said about LGBTQ community.

I thought I saw a clip of a Trump rally in NC yesterday where Trump turned to someone in the wings and said, "Tell him no." I.just assumed this was in reference to Robinson.

I did too but never saw a confirm of that.
