Suspected Shooter in Idaho Ambush of Firefighters Identified​

The suspect, who died on Sunday and was found with a firearm nearby, was a 20-year-old man, official says​

Hopefully puts an end to the ugly rush to blame a trans shooter that happen after virtually every mass shooting now, but now the internet sleuths will go nuts and start building new conspiracies about why law enforcement quickly takes down the social media sites of alleged killers.
 
No Twitter reports with interesting theories as to why this guy is actually a Democrat, or even worse a transgendered liberal???!!!!!

I mean you're right but there is a fair amount of unsubstantiated speculation that he was a white supremacist. Other than there being some weirdos in Idaho, there's not much evidence of that either.

Now as for my wild speculation on the thinnest of evidence, looks like he wanted to be a firefighter and had a bit of a rough family life growing up. Wouldn't be surprised if he got rejected from firefighting recently and decided his life was over at 20.

Come on, man. That's like saying, "Sure, it wasn't reasonable to think the guy shooting women in Kabul was trans, but you're doing the same thing by assuming he's Taliban."

I just think it sounds more like if there was a shooting in Greensboro some guy from Idaho saying it's almost certainly a white supremacist because they had that KKK shooting 40 years ago. I mean it's possible the murderer was a white supremacist in Idaho but he shot a bunch of firefighters. That doesn't scream racially motivated (or trans motivated) to me.

White supremacists are often violent unstable individuals. That's what attracts them to the militancy. So yeah, they commit lots of crimes that aren't necessarily racist in origin.

I don't think it matters whether he is or isn't.

Doesn't look like there's much to go on. No manifesto or suicide note found. Abusive family, kid was living out of his car, his granddad said he respected law enforcement and wanted to be a fire fighter. His roommate was worried that he was having some mental issues and little too attached to the guns and started making gang signs. Probably never know for sure.
