Sweden:

At Least 10 Dead in Sweden’s ‘Worst Mass Shooting,’ Prime Minister Says

The shooting occurred at a center for adult education in the city of Orebro. The suspect is believed to be among the dead, officials said.

“…
The suspect was among the dead, the country’s justice minister, Gunnar Strommer, said. But the authorities released few other details, including the person’s identity and a possible motive.

We do not think there is any terror motive behind this, but it is too early in the investigation to say,” Roberto Eid Forest, the head of the local police, said on Tuesday evening. “We think we have the perpetrator,” he added, “but we are not ruling out anything.”

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office posted an update to its Facebook page, stating that “all suspects are in custody and there is no threat to public safety.”

In re: Kentucky Sheriff shoots Kentucky Judge. If the Judge was sexually involved with the Sheriff's 17-year-old daughter, then that might have bern the motive.
It now appears that the former sheriff was afraid the daughter and wife were going to be kidnapped with the involvement of the judge. Former sheriff going for insanity defense.

Seems like we actually are much safer than we were a few years ago. I can't even remember the last time we had an actual active assailant event. Gang shootouts and domestic violence are always going to happen unfortunately, but it is refreshing not to see stories about random people being killed en masse the way they were before.

Watching news coverage and there isn't any report of the shooter being in custody yet.
