A party was confirmed to have been happening at the home at the time of the shooting, with attendees ranging in age from teenagers to those in their 20s and older.

Eyewitnesses told local reporters that many people attending the party were from nearby high schools and people began scattering, ducking for cover and running toward safety when shots erupted.

Who said anything about inner-city gangs? There are plenty of gangs and wannabe gangsters outside of inner cities. Also, apparently the home was one of several owned by a person who rents out their properties as AirBnBs which supports my theory even further.

Deputies say law enforcement executed multiple search warrants Tuesday as part of the investigation. They say more suspects could be arrested.
