That you're able to make this call knowing only the county in question (and the demography) is... Unflattering.
I’m speaking in general and not specifically about any one particular incident. Assuming criminals are automatically dumb is dangerous. People who are involved in sketchy things generally aren’t going to be using a gun that can be traced back to them. “Mass shooters” in the traditional sense don’t care because they are pretty much planning on dying anyways, but run of the mill criminals don’t want to get caught. Also pretty much the opposite of domestic violence shootings, which are typically impulsive.

Also the facts that have led me to believe that the recent shootings posted in this thread were gang/drug related are not related to skin color. The deadliest shooting, according to authorities, involved “multiple suspects” i.e. more than likely two or more people shooting at each other. High school football games or high school “parties” are notorious for these beefs. So are shootings at nightclubs at 2am. When you see something like 20 people shot but most escaping with minor injuries that also tends to support the notion that handgun(s) were used which is also not common amongst rampage shooters. These things happen over and over and over again to it is easy to see the similarities.

The relevant fact is that with more guns than people in the US, anyone can get a gun either through legal means or illegal ones. And with the loopholes that exist in the law, a person can legally sell a firearm to someone who can’t legally buy or possess one.

That is the big difference between us and most first world countries. Firearms are just easier to obtain here for everyone - those who can do so legally and those who can’t.

Also, before anyone mentions weapon smuggling, most of that is from the US not to the US.
