Interesting article about the docket of the judge (Ho) who is deciding the Adams withdrawal matter. Turns out Ho also has oversight of two related cases where one of the parties ready plead guilty but appears to have been cooperating with the investigation and another seems poised to enter a guilty plea on a lesser charge — all relating to the alleged bribes of Adams.
So Ho had a great deal more insight into the underlying case against Adams than the media covering the Adams hearing, which likely is informing his handling of the dismissal. It also makes you wonder about the fairness of the plea deal now with the cooperating witness (and seems to have letting limbo the other pending plea).
