1. Will defer to the Chicagoans here but I'm not aware of a Miracle Mile Shopping Center in Chicago. Is he referring to the Magnificent Mile?

2. If he is, last time I was there, the Magnificent Mile seemed to be doing just fine.

3. Citing shopping centers with high vacancy rates as an indicator of ANYTHING just further shows how out of touch Trump is with ordinary Americans. Tons of shopping centers across the country are struggling or failing. It's not because of crime. It's because of Trump buddy Jeff Bezos.

ZERO criminal charges from that blackhawk rappelling raid.

Aside from the obvious moral and human rights/safety (needless violence) issues, imagine all the $$$ this is costing taxpayers (to say nothing of the cost of the protections for cankles when he plays every weekend at Golf-A-Lago, or Ka$h's country singer chick gf's security detail, or Kristi Noem's jet fleet, etc.).

Didn't they give ICE an $85 billion budget in total? And none of that money is going towards making groceries or healthcare more affordable

Johnson said the shots appeared to ring out during a "teen takeover" that brought large crowds of young people into the city. Officers nearby saw a "large group on the sidewalk" that began to scatter after the shots were fired, the Chicago Police Department said in an email to USA TODAY. They are still investigating the cause.

… [Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson] said the city placed 700 extra police officers and violence intervention specialists in the streets around the expected gathering place, but admitted the precautions "did not do enough." …”
