Megachurch founder pleads guilty to child sex abuse charges

The founder of a Texas megachurch pleaded guilty today to five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child stemming from incidents that date back to the 1980s. Robert Preston Morris, 64, appeared in court today in front of Osage County District Special Judge Cindy Pickerill.

OK then why was she a career bartender? Why didn’t her fancy (and expensive) degrees land her a job into her 30s?
 
AOC trolled Riley for her “job” so she asked for it. At least Riley has a kid.

Until her social media skills propelled her to Congress AOC was an overly educated bartender in NYC cleaning toilets. Deal with it.

right. Having a kid is really an accomplishment.

It’s literally the baseline of human fucking existence—but since a 5th place swimmer does it while making a living as a one-note right-wing grifter, it’s notable and superior to running a successful political campaign, consistently bringing intelligent discourse to politics, and becoming one of the leading young Dems.

Her dad died when she was in college. When she graduated she moved back home and worked multiple jobs to help her mom avoid foreclosure.
She’s a smart woman. Graduating cum laude from BU doesn’t reflect that very well, but I assume her dad’s death when she was a sophomore might have wrecked her gpa a bit. I’ve certainly seen it happen.

She was elected to congress in 2018 at age 29. Prior to that she did the following:
    • Waitress and bartender:
      After her father's death, she worked extra shifts as a waitress and bartender to support her family.
    • Co-founder of Brook Avenue Press:
      She co-founded a publishing house to promote positive stories about the Bronx.
    • Internship:
      During college, she interned in the office of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy, which exposed her to the struggles of immigrant families.

Exactly. The only thing she has done to "deserve" respect is to be a hatemonger. Mother is a biological term and can happen under all sorts of circumstances. She'll get credit from me if she's a mom. She's only 25 so that's not proven. I don't like the chances of that from anyone who either has that much irrational hatred or so little moral character as to sell that crap for money.
 
I get y’all aren’t fans of Riley but give her credit for being an articulate spokesman who’s created a brand on the open market. She was attending events with Charlie speaking on a wide range of issues (not just trans topics). Riley is now touring with Megan Kelly and others.

Not everyone can do what Riley does. Give the young lady her due.

She would more than hold her own in a debate with AOC. My side would think Riley kicked butt and your team would think the opposite.
