Measles in NC

Are these unvaxxed adults or are we all susceptible ?
I'm no MD and I might get corrected, but I think the answer is a little of both, though probably more of the first.

I would be surprised if everyone who had a measles vaccine retains immunity well into adulthood. Probably most do, but there are few universals in medicine

That's hilarious.

I'm wondering how many people on here get this joke. I had a t-shirt that referenced something pretty similar and wore it to a party. About half the people thought it was great and half the people had no idea what it was talking about. I think maybe some school systems bought it and some school systems didn't.

So if you don't get this meme, let us know

Anyone born after 1970 should get a second shot at some point in their lives (no time like the present if you haven't). Basically the second dose wasn't recommended till 1996 so people born between 1970 and 1996 are most at risk next to the unvaccinated.

I did it the old fashioned way and had them. That's generally permanent.
